Giving the Gift of Wishes: Maui Divers Jewelry and Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi
What would you do if you could help a child find the strength to fight harder against their illness? At Maui Divers Jewelry, we believe the keiki of Hawaiʻi are our future — and supporting organizations like Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi will always be one of our greatest priorities.
Our CEO and Creative Director, Cole Slater, says it best:
"At Maui Divers Jewelry, we wholeheartedly believe that every keiki should experience joy, no matter the challenges they encounter. We are proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi to fulfill life-changing wishes for keiki with critical illnesses in our community."
World Wish Month: Our Customers Make It Happen
In 2024, we began kicking off World Wish Month in a big way — donating 100% of all online sales for one day directly to Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi. Each year, our incredible customers help us make a meaningful impact for an organization dedicated to changing the lives of Hawaiʻi's keiki.
The results have been nothing short of amazing:
- 2024: We raised $35,000
- 2025: We raised over $37,000
- 2026: We surpassed all previous years, raising over $50,000!
Finn's Wish: Strength on a Skateboard
In 2025, our donations helped grant the wish of 5-year-old Finn. At just 10 weeks old, Finn had his first surgery for a rare liver disease, and just before his 2nd birthday, he received a lifesaving liver transplant from his mom. Through it all, Finn's spirit never wavered.
Finn's wish was to meet professional skateboarder Andy Anderson. Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi flew him out to the Red Bull Origin event in California, where he got to meet Andy and spend time doing what they both love — skateboarding.
Finn's mom shared:
"Finn's wish boosted his confidence, lifted his spirit, and reminded him that he is not defined by his illness, but celebrated for his strength and resilience."

Cassie's Wish: A Magical World Awaits
With our 2024 donations, we helped grant the wish of Cassandra, a 5-year-old from Wahiawa, who dreamed of visiting Walt Disney World. Cassie was diagnosed with leukemia in November 2022, and her trip gave her family a moment of pure, unfiltered joy.
After their visit, Cassie's mom wrote to Make-A-Wish:
"My heart was so full watching how happy and beautiful Cassie was during her wish. You all make this possible for us, and we are forever grateful for the hard work and dedication you put into Cassie's wish. You are our genies and fairies who made this amazing experience possible — thank you!"

Mahalo, From Our Hearts to Yours
None of this would be possible without you. Mahalo to every customer, supporter, and member of our community who helped us change the lives of these keiki — and the many lives we will continue to touch in the years to come.
Together, we are making wishes come true.
